Early Life and Career of Rinku Singh

Rinku Singh was born October 12th, 1997 in Aligarh Uttar Pradesh India. He is a left-handed batsman and slow left-arm orthodox bowller. He began his cricketing career by representing Uttar Pradesh in the Under-19 Cooch Behar Trophy, before being chosen for the India U19 team’s tour to Sri Lanka later that same year.

Rinku Singh experienced further hardship when he was dropped from the Uttar Pradesh Under-19 team due to lack of funds. After returning home and working odd jobs in order to support himself financially, Rinku never gave up his dream and kept practicing whenever he could.

Rinku Singh found a break when selected for a cricket camp organized by Kolkata Knight Riders in Mumbai. After impressing his coaches with his talent, Rinku was eventually signed by them and given a spot on their squad. Since then, he has earned recognition both within the IPL and domestic cricket circuits for his resilience and determination in overcoming obstacles in life.

In 2017, Rinku Singh made his debut for Uttar Pradesh in Ranji Trophy cricket competition. Uttar Pradesh was victorious in their Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy campaign of 2018, where he scored an outstanding 330 runs over 10 matches at an average of 36.67. He made his IPL debut for Kolkata Knight Riders against Chennai Super Kings at their inaugural IPL game that same year and scored 120 runs at an average of 20 in 10 matches played during that inaugural season.
